I went to a friend&amp;#8217;s BBQ, and it all started so well, and then I had a non-diet soda and then I ended up in a marshmallow eating contest.&lt;br/&gt;
You know what though? I ate clean for the rest of the day. I ate a lot of sugar, but nothing too fatty. I had lots of salad. And my intake was only a little above my BMR. I&amp;#8217;m not going to put all the weight back on for that.&lt;br/&gt;
If anything, a higher intake might kickstart my metabolism.&lt;br/&gt;

It&amp;#8217;s amazing what that boy does for my self esteem. He tells me that I&amp;#8217;m the most beautiful girl he&amp;#8217;s ever seen, and I&amp;#8217;m always so confident for a few days after seeing him.&lt;br/&gt;
Anyway, despite his family being massive eaters (and yet they&amp;#8217;re all slim! So unfair!), I just about managed to keep within my goals, mainly because we did so much walking around castle ruins and stuff (yeah, we&amp;#8217;re both history nerds).&lt;br/&gt;
And I return to&amp;#8230; Shark week. So, no soda any more, just water. I will battle this inevitable bloat.&lt;/p&gt;

I had a good eating day and even managed to treat myself to a magnum before I left the sunny climes.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The next bit of the story requires some background info. In my wardrobe, I have some shorts which were made by my mum out of a pair of size 8 (us 4) petite skinny jeans. They&amp;#8217;re my &amp;#8216;marker&amp;#8217;. If they fit, I&amp;#8217;m at a slim stage. Before I left? They wouldn&amp;#8217;t make it up to my hips.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#8217;ve been feeling a bit bloaty today, I always get that when travelling. But I ran to my wardrobe. After less than 2 weeks, &lt;b&gt;the shorts fit&lt;/b&gt;. They&amp;#8217;re tight. I need to lose more for them to be attractive. But they do up, I could wear them outside. This has been such a huge motivator.
